On March 8, International Women's Day, we are reminded of how hard it is to get equal rights for men and women and to give women more power.

International Women's Day has its roots in the early 1900s, when women started to demand better working conditions, the right to vote, and equality in general. 

International Women's Day is a public holiday in many countries, so people can go to events and do activities without any restrictions.  

Women still have trouble getting an education, getting medical care, and getting jobs because they are women.

This Day is a chance to bring attention to violence against women and push for laws and programs that stop violence, help victims, and hold abusers responsible.
