Muslim people hold great importance to the ninth month of the Islamic Calendar, which is called Ramadan. The holy Quran is thought to have been sent down from heaven in this month to guide both men and women and save them.

Islam believes that the month of Ramadan has been the most important month for the faith ever since Mohammed Saheb learned about the Quran Sharif, which is the holy book of Islam.

After that, it was recognized as a holy month. The Prophet was picked by Allah to be his prophet, which is one of the main reasons why this month is highly important in Islam.

Muslims fast during the month of Ramadan is to feel the pain and suffering of the poor and the downtrodden.

while fasting, one neither hears  nor sees nor says nor has unpleasant sentiments  toward anybody.

Ramadan fasting teaches Muslims self-control, religious dedication, and to give up bad habits. This purifies the mind and eliminates harmful ideas while fasting.

Muslims must pray 125 times in Ramadan and avoid evil and inhumanity to keep Roza. Food, water, smoking, and sex are forbidden during the fast.

Fasting Muslim suhoor (Sehri) is when people eat before daybreak. While iftar is the evening meal fasting individuals eat. In Ramadan, fasting individuals eat dates.

This day people dress new clothing and go to Eidgah mosque to pray namaz, thank God, embrace, and congratulate each other.

Laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Power, is Islam's holiest night. The night Prophet Muhammed received the Quran is said to happen during the final 10 days of Ramadan.

The 2024 Ramadan began on March 12 and will end on April 9. After Ramadan, there will be Eid ul Fitr.
